I have imagined the different stages of the Earth’s evolution as seen from outer space. I began a series in the late 70’s that I called the Biography of the Earth. Slides of some of these paintings have been used in a presentation of  “The Beginning and End of the Universe” at Lawrence Hall of Science.

Most recently, I published a book called “Myth of the Earth”.

The story evolved from the many paintings of the planet as imagined in different times  – from its birth – through fire, floods, growth, life and potential death. Many of my images are cosmic in nature and are manifestations of  meditations on creation and change.
