Angenita Teekens
I have worked as an artist, teacher and facilitator for the last 25 years.
In schools, for charities and community projects.
Having studied in Holland at a Teacher Training College in Utrecht and at The Art Academy in Tilburg I came to London to teach in one of London’s Theatre Schools, as a building and programme manager for the Dutch Church in the City of London and as manager of the Othona Community in Bradwell on Sea, facilitating a wide variety of programmes. Many of them related to the Arts. I am a member of Arts Network and have a full public liability insurance. I now work as a free lance artist and as the deputy manager of an arts and crafts centre, enabling adults with learning difficulties to participate in the Arts.
My own practise lies firmly within the landscape, environment and involvement of communities.
