Cathy Ehrler

Each day I pick up the trash on the street outside my studio and at the end of the week, after sorting and cleaning, I create an artistic assemblage. I then take a photo of the piece and recycle/reuse the components. My work gives the viewer a different perspective of the wastefulness and excesses of our society. I am passionate about using my art to show that one person can help make the world a better place, albeit just one strip of pavement only 300 steps long.
