My work uses the figure to describe people and landscapes historically unrepresented due to gender bias. I fashion portraits of unseen women by recreating objects they made. My practice spans sculpture, installation, photography, and participatory projects to inhabit the experiences of futurism, feminist-defined landscapes, and the destruction of nature enabled by a culture which normalizes suppression of the feminine. I have been artist-in-residence at Fruitlands Museum and the Frederic Remington Museum, and have exhibited at the Boston Center for the Arts, the Somerville and Danforth Museums in Greater Boston, and in numerous New England galleries.
