Edith Hillinger
Through botanical forms I explore issues of change, aging, death and relationship between all living matter. All individual life forms, except bacteria, have a programmed life span. Evolution guarentees continuity of species and through mutation, new life forms. In my work, botany, anatomy and geology merge to show that all life forms evolved together and are interdependent. I work in watercolor and digital photography combined with pencil drawing.
