Jill Bergman is a printmaker and illustrator in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Her linocuts are made by carving a sheet of artist linoleum, rolling ink over the surface, and printing on an etching press. She is influenced by the western landscape, wildlife, storytelling, and folk art.
Jill has also created illustration and collaborative work for many clients. For 7 years, she has designed artwork for ReTree, a tree planting program of the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council. In 2019, she designed and installed an 850 square foot mural for Friends of the Yampa, created with the help of 120 community members. She is interested in working with organizations promoting environmental protection and awareness.
