Jo Pearl

London-based multi-disciplinary artist working mainly in clay. Practices embraces ceramics, clay stop frame animation and installation. Themes explored include soil health, the impact of air pollution, modern slavery. Trained in ceramics at Central Saint Martins school of art, graduating with a BA in Ceramic Design. Has exhibited in Somerset House’s landmark 2025 exhibition SOIL: The World at our Feet in London, and the Urban Soils Institute in New York.
