Lanny Frances DeVuono is an Associate Professor Emerita/UC Denver, she has taught at EWU, NYU, William Paterson, Rangsit University (Thailand) and Trivandrum College of Fine Art (India).

Awards for her paintings and drawings include a Fulbright Fellowship, WA State Artist Trust Fellowship, artist residencies at Yaddo, Centrum, Jentel and RedLine, Sitka.

Among others, she has had one-person exhibitions at the Yellowstone Art Museum, NW Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Her work is in collections including the NW Museum of Art& Culture, Mills College Art Museum, Seattle University School of Law, University of WA Medical Center, Justice Center, Kent, WA, Swedish Medical Center, Seattle. She writes under the name Frances DeVuono currently for Third Text online; past publications include: Art News, New Art Examiner, Arts and Artweek, Sculpture, Art In America.
