Life in harmony with art is the best way to describe Nalyne Lunati’s creative process. She carries her artistic touch and mindset in everything she does.  She often has a unique outlook and way of seeing the world. She considers herself a political economist that knows how to paint. She takes an interdisciplinary approach to art making. Influences from her Political Economy training is a common thread that runs through her art work.  Often she makes her own paint with organic pigments.

She has a profound respect and appreciation for nature. The Thai Forest tradition Buddhism has taught her that “nature” is always teaching us. Whether painting about political, spiritual or ecological issues, she executes the paintings with the Dhamma (Dharma) in mind, bringing the awareness practice to the canvas.
