Environmental art can be followed through many different angles. What has been attractive in my works, sometimes leads to an absence in the nature, warning for it being destroyed and sympathizing with the creatures and plants that have been touched by this destruction. Often my encounter with the nature is strictly from an aesthetic perspective, creating an artwork inspired by the nature, and using natural elements. Of course, an important part of my works is about the manner of the relationship between the reality world and the human existence.

In this matter, on one hand I have the primitive human’s relationship with nature in mind and on the other hand I pay attention to the relationship of natural world with the contemporary human. Primitive human has a motherly and caring attitude towards the nature. He/she sees a spirit behind every natural element and event that he/she cherishes and supports it. He/she considers himself/herself as a part of the nature and he/she is now after destroying it. On the other hand the contemporary human has been separated from the nature, mutilated and at times foreign with self and existence; is busy destroying and gobbling up the nature. He/she needs to renew his kind and caring relationship with the nature.

I also consider the action of the environmental artist as a noteworthy matter. Environmental artist develops a shamanism and or peaceful relationship with the nature. Every now and then he/she gives an artwork that he/she has worked on for days, to the nature and lets it become a part of it again. The persistence of an artwork turns into a traditional matter. The artist and his artwork function as a part of the existence, which have no other goal than to remind their unity and oneness with the world.

In addition to this, for him/her to create in the natural environment, there is a need for solitude, attention and love, listening and watching it. Only in a caring manner it is that, he/she would be able to hear his/her mutual voices and sounds with the existence. An environmental artist is not after achieving sensible results like a monk, yet what he/she discovers and observes in this path has much deeper importance for him/her.

Here, I am introducing a series of my works that are mostly focused on the relationship between the human and nature.
