Dr. Revital Katznelson, an environmental scientist, uses her high-quality dissecting microscope with a variety of cameras and creative illumination settings to capture the natural beauty of tiny crystals. Her work features crystals of salts from the kitchen and from around the world (Himalaya, Dead Sea, Mono Lake, hot springs) as well as crystals of sucrose and xylitol sugars.
“The stark beauty of these microscopic crystals motivates me to share them with the world. However I am just the documentarian and the presenter; Mother Nature is the true artist, and I hope we all give her the respect she deserves!” RK
