My work explores the relationship between fear and anticipation,
of the future or the unknown.

Since my graduate student Berkeley days, I have been using infrared black and white photography to tell stories of protest and social issues set in the landscape. What starts out as simple white figures against a dark background, leaves the viewer with a sense of dreamlike questioning. Who are these people and what is going on here?
