The common denominator for all people is the environment. We need air, water and food to survive. As a society, we have reshaped our environment by extracting minerals, building damns, super highways and cities in the desert. Do we take more than we need from the environment?

My art reflects the landscapes we have created. I use pigments of clay to represent the environment and fired clay to represent the structures we have recreated.

My goal is to bring about an awareness of our environment as profit is becoming the common denominator.
