Takako is interested in intangible forces and interconnectedness of all things.
Her early works focused on how the environment affects how we feel. In recent years she is looking more at how we are affecting the environment.
Takako completed her MFA in studio arts from San Francisco Art Institute, and Ph.D. in computer science with minor in social psychology from Cornell University. She lives and works in Oakland, California.
