My work endeavours to unite scientific knowledge with the mystery and wonder of the natural world. Each project is undertaken in a manner requiring attentiveness, trust and respect. My intention in all things is to “do no harm.”

I also organize community and public art projects. Inclusion and participation, process and the creative act are more interesting to me than the final product.

Recipient of numerous awards and grants. Works are in Canadian and International public and private collections.
