Participants will learn to make building panels, insulation, sculptures and create unique landscaping elements from very low-cost, sustainable materials.

Philip has taught over 3000 people how to build inexpensive natural homes worldwide. He will introduce new developments made at overseas eco-villages that used hybrid adobe, paper-crete, pumice adobe, wool adobe, and more. Learn Hybrid Adobe recipes, secret formulas, procedures, time-saving tips and applications from the originator. He’ll show how to insulate a home with this low-cost material.

Hybrid Adobe is an easy to build with, energy-efficient material made from local earth, clay, fibers and a binder. You can use this strong, non-toxic material for dozens of applications…Hybrid Adobe can cover cement or wooden buildings beautifying them & making them flame resistant. Its a wonderful substitute for drywall and toxic fiberglass insulation. The material performs well in high-wind, rain, wildfire and earthquake zones.

A morning seminar will complement the hands on fun with a discussion of techniques and designs using post and beam, poured walls & floors, cob, and much more including your choices with building permits Learn how these simple processes allow you to do the work yourself, saving money, time and energy. When dry, hybrid adobe is lightweight and easy to cut with a saw, making it highly creative and easier to work with than classic adobe, standard framing, concrete, cob or straw bale. Learn to flame-proof buildings and how to set up a simple backyard operation and mixer.

Please reserve your place as our workshops do sell out.
