Six women artists from diverse backgrounds will create the newest exhibition of installation art at the Mattress Factory. “Feminist and…”, curated by Dr. Hilary Robinson, explores feminism through the perspectives of women artists from throughout the world.Artists: Julia Cahill, Betsy Damon, Parastou Forouhar, Loraine Leeson, Ayanah Moor, Carrie Mae WeemsWe are happy to announce Carolyn Perteete, jazz vocalist, along with Chris Parker on guitar and James Johnson on percussion, will be performing during the opening!
