Hz Gate:
Breaking the sound Barrier

Hz Gate is an artistic collaboration built around the idea of aesthetic acoustic experimentation.
Hz Gate displays the work of 15 SFAI Graduate students, directed by sound artist, Laetitia Sonami.
Each artist has developed new pieces that include sound interpretation – often breaking boundaries of their own practice – which builds a temporary phonic scenery.
Hz Gate is a new Experiment that allows the viewer to engage in a unique moment of surrounding acoustic principals.

So please join us for this vibrant exhibition. A pop up show hosted by the Lab in collaboration with Dena Beard, and curated by Mariel Bayona and Clea Massiani, co-directors at the mission based art gallery, Bass&Reiner.
