St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County Artist Residency
If you’d like the opportunity to sift through mountains of castoffs and discards, spend three months in an equipped artist studio, and get an exhibition of the work you create, you’re in luck.
SVdP of Alameda County is searching for our next Artist in Residence to create works of art from our waste stream materials. The selected artist gets a studio at our East Oakland sorting facility and unlimited access to a vast assortment of discards. Wood, metal, plastic, textile and everything in between are all available to our artist. Even better, the position comes with a $500 per month stipend.
Our award-winning residency culminates in an 8-week exhibition at our Redux Studios & Gallery location. Contact crummell@svdp-alameda.org for information and an application.
