Current projects that demonstrate and critique how feminism has been adapted to be politically, culturally, economically, environmentally relevant today.
The place of feminism in current discussions of gender equity and its effect on politics, culture, and society.
Art that addresses intersectional feminism, Â the “intersections” among different systems of oppression—e.g. sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and classism.
IMAGE PORTFOLIO SUBMISSIONÂ GUIDELINES Â Â
- You must be a WEAD member to submit.
- Three images of the project(s) imbedded in a word doc with captions and description.
- Each figure requires a caption. For art objects and projects include (Works Title, Date of execution, location, artist, and photographer.
- Submit three sentence description for each photo. Submissions should demonstrate and critique how feminism has been adapted to be politically, culturally, economically, environmentally relevant today.
- Send proposal and images to info@weadartists.org with subject line ISSUE #8 IMAGE PORTFOLIO.
- If accepted, images will need to be sent separately and in the following format 530 pixel width or 7 inch width, 300 dpi, .tiff.
