Join the Greater Los Angeles Chapter (US National Committee) for UN Women at our upcoming December 8 event on Women, Climate Change and Human Rights in Los Angeles.
UN Women is the UN’s entity on gender equality and the empowerment of women. We believe that the theme of this event is especially timely considering the disappointing lack of progress at the Rio+20 summit.
We envision this Special Assembly to be an active discussion amongst a diverse audience of activists and academics about how individuals and organizations can take action
