Thursday, January 22
7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT
Hybrid | In-person at The 109 Gallery (Chickamauga, GA) and virtual via Zoom

This cross-disciplinary dialogue brings together voices from science, conservation, biology, activism, writing, and the arts to reflect on the themes of the exhibition and the work of the participating artists. The conversation will explore how practices of care and consent shape relationships between bodies, environments, and systems of power across human and more-than-human worlds.

Artists featured in the exhibition will be present alongside invited panelists and juror Beverly Nadius, including:

  • Chrissie Orr from Santa Fe, New Mexico: Social practice and photography
  • Rebecca Haseltine, San Francisco, California: Ink paintings and body-mind centering
  • Virginia Petitte, Dayton, Tennessee: Sustainability coordinator at Thrive Regional Partnership

The evening will conclude with a moderated community Q&A, welcoming both in-person and virtual audiences. Designed as an intimate and thoughtful exchange rather than a formal panel, this gathering offers space for listening, reflection, and shared inquiry as we close the exhibition and the year together.
